This year's focus is on current developments, forward-looking trends, and practical applications in the field of smart sensor systems. These intelligent sensor systems enable seamless integration into digital infrastructures, ensure the protection of sensitive data, and make an important contribution to sustainability through their energy-efficient design. In doing so, they open up new perspectives for applications in industry, mobility, health, and many other areas.

Our expert Dr. Lena Wysocki will give a lecture at 10:15 a.m. entitled “Optical MEMS Scanners for Smart Sensor Systems: From Quantum Sensors to Engine Inspections.” Afterwards, our deputy institute director Prof. Dr. Fabian Lofink will participate in a panel discussion at 3:30 p.m.
