How To Get To Fraunhofer ISIT
By car
Fraunhofer ISIT is located 500 meters west of the highway A23 within eyeshot of the highway exit "Itzehoe-Nord"; from northern direction: leave at exit "Itzehoe-Nord" and turn right; from southern direction: leave at exit "Itzehoe-Nord" and take the 1st exit of the roundabout, direction: Itzehoe. At the next crossing (about 100m distance) turn right and follow the street without turning left or right and use the parking space at the end of the street.
By public transportation
ICE and IC trains from Hamburg-Altona or Pinneberg, hourly connection to Itzehoe. From Itzehoe station, take bus 4 in the direction of "IZET/ISIT" or bus 5 in the direction of "Zusestraße" to Fraunhofer ISIT. More information can be found at NAH.SH.

A taxi ride from Itzehoe train station to Fraunhofer ISIT takes about 10 minutes.
By plane
From Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel airport by rental car in the direction of the A 7 (Flensburg / Hanover), follow A 7 towards Hanover to highway junction Nord-West. Continue on the A 23 in the direction of Husum / Heide until the Itzehoe-Nord highway exit. Total distance approx. 64 kilometres.
