Rapid Prototyping Control

Real-Time Box (RT-Box) to implement hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and processor-in-the-loop (PIL) procedures for power electronic systems.

Hardware in the loop   

In case of a HIL setup the RT-Box emulates the electronic part of a system. Doing this it obtains control signals from an extern e.g. a microcontroller. The main advantage is that control procedures can be verified without the need of the target hardware.

Rapid Prototyping Control

Using a PIL simulation the Real-Time Box emulates the control loop processor e.g. a microcontroller. In this case control concepts can be developed, analyzed and validated easily on the target hardware.
