Your work and responsibilities at Fraunhofer ISIT:
- Collaborate on research projects and development under the guidance of experienced scientists* and technicians*.
- The work includes the analysis of electronic components, destructive and non-destructive, e.g. in metallography and other exciting research laboratories. Building and connecting prototypes, preparing reports and evaluating measurement results.
- Getting to know various projects and corresponding processes in the area of the Module Services Group as well as getting to know the business field of micro-manufacturing processes.
- Introduction to the field of clean room technology.
Your learning objectives in the field:
- Learning the working techniques in the analysis and assembly & interconnection laboratories.
- Work with machines to build and analyze prototypes and electronic assemblies (chip bonder, wire bonder, soldering SMD components, etc.).
- Gaining experience in planning and implementing scientific projects.
- Get to know working in a team and the different areas of Fraunhofer ISIT.
Further to the post:
- The weekly working time is 39 hours.
- The position is limited to 1 year.
- Remuneration: Internationale Jugendgemeinschaftsdienste (ijgd) - Bundesverein e.V. takes over the remuneration of the FJN'ler.
