Microtec nord 2022

North German Microelectronics Day

Intelligent systems

Learning hardware and software

Modern technical systems are increasingly acting autonomously, taking on ever more complex tasks, especially those that traditionally require human intelligence. Learning-capable hardware and software is being used profitably by companies and organizations in industry and agriculture worldwide and offers enormous potential in the future. A major challenge is the reliable, efficient and decentralized processing of exponentially growing amounts of data from the integrated sensors, especially on mobile devices and systems. The efficient computation of neural networks using dedicated integrated circuits represents a promising solution approach. The eleventh North German Microelectronics Day is dedicated to this topic with practice-oriented lectures, held by speakers from well-known companies and institutions, reporting on news and developments in the field. The event is aimed at planning and projecting specialists and executives, as well as those responsible at management levels and students and doctoral candidates. It offers the opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues and to make new contacts.
