At the extensive Talent Fair, you can also find out about specific funding and job opportunities in Germany and establish contacts with research institutes, science organizations and universities.
A series of workshops and lectures will provide advice on developing individual careers. The focus will be on topics such as setting up junior research groups, applying for professorships, careers in business and science management, and strategies for dual-career couples and families. Various networking receptions round out the program.
Our goal is to facilitate an exchange about existing initiatives and identify necessary development needs. Subject-specific issues as well as practical tips for the time after the postdoc will be discussed.
Participants at the GAIN Annual Meeting come from all scientific disciplines, especially biology, medicine, chemistry, physics, computer science, engineering and humanities.
